"my duties as deputy often keep me busy, but i promise i will try not to slack off with your training!" she hummed softly under her breath as she faced forward again. a territory tour was the best way to start a young apprentice's training; allow them to get a lay of the land, before starting their actual training. that, she figured, could wait until tomorrow. "our territory is quite large, and can take some getting used to, but i'm sure you'll get the hang of it quickly!" she glanced back at mudpaw again and winked. she'd be lying if she said that she wasn't paying close attention to him to make sure he didn't run off and get himself into trouble again.[break][break] "now! what better place to start with than the river?" not far from the camp, the river ran through riverclan territory, about as peacefully as usual. "go along the riverside, and we'll eventually come across a place known as sunningrocks. that place is absolutely divine when it comes to sunning yourself on a nice, warm day!" a rumbling purr erupted from the molly's throat as she led the young tom down the riverside, watching the water rushing by peacefully. "most of our prey, various kinds of fish, come from this river. it provides a good source of food when normal prey becomes scarce in the colder weather, aside from when the river freezes when it's at its coldest. but something like that is fairly uncommon, i'd like to think!" |
